Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies went through their first cycle of NAAC on November 6th and 7th, 2023.
The NAAC peer team was chaired by Dr Poornananda Ds, Member Coordinator Dr. Manukonda Rabindranath, and Member Dr. Amutha Pandian.
The first day featured a formal welcome of the team by the students followed with presentations by Principal Dr. Amee Vora, IQAC Coordinator Shalu Balan, and HODs Mr. Chandroday Ghosh and Nilanksha Sachdev, showcasing the college’s achievements and departmental strengths. The NAAC team then interacted with Teaching and Non- teaching staff members, students and alumni, looking for feedback and deeper insights. The day concluded with a cultural program, highlighting the college’s cultural diversity.
On the second day, the team conducted a campus tour, and scrutinized files and documents. The visit concluded with the creation of an exit report and an exit meeting, sharing preliminary findings and recommendations.
Conclusion
The NAAC visit provided valuable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement, marking a significant step in DGMC’s journey towards academic excellence. DGMC was accredited by NAAC with a B+ Grade and a CGPA of 2.65 in the First Cycle.
