The intra college chess competition was organized by the sports committee. A total of 30 contestants took part in the competition. Students were excited with participation from both male and female students. 6 Chess boards were provided and the contestants were split into 6 groups who were made to play simultaneously. The matches were timed for 20 minutes each. The result was decided either by the timer or by checkmate. The tournament was a knockout format with each winning player moving onto the next round. The tournament was a tough one with all the contestants putting their minds to the test.
The tension in the game kept increasing as the stages progressed. The top four qualified players gave their best to win the game. Finally, after a tough competition, the results were declared with Mr Vipin Gupta (3rd year BAMMC) securing the first place and Mr. Sushant Gurav (2nd year BAMMC) securing the second place.
