An Evening of Nostalgia – A Farewell to our TY Students In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere inside the Saraf Hall, the students, staff and management of the College bid adieu to the final year students of TYBA FTNMP and TYBMM-2017 batch, at a grand farewell function, on 27 th February 2017.
The Director General, Dr. N. M. Kondap, Director, Dr. Kumardatta Ganjre and The Dean Academics, Dr. Mangesh Karandikar, graced the occasion.
The event started with a formal introduction of all the dignitaries and a welcome speech for the Third year students. This was followed by an energetic dance performance by the juniors.
The third year students enthusiastically participated for the title of Mr. And Miss DGMC. The Winners for the event were Ms. Riddhi Timbadia from TYBMM (Advt.) being crowned as Miss DGMC and Mr. Jaspreet Rekhraj from TYBMM(Advt.) being crowned as Mr. DGMC.
This was followed by a few fun games and confessions by the seniors] students. Three cakes were cut by the CR’s of all the three sections- TYBA, TYBMM (Journalism) and TYBMM (Advertising).
The hall was thumping with energy during the DJ. The eyes of the students were filled with tears of nostalgia when a video was played, depicting the undying bond of true friendship.The students then clicked pictures together and left with memories to cherish for a lifetime.
