On the 8th to the 11th of September 2023, groups of 48 enthusiastic students from DGMC, along with two of their dedicated faculty members, embarked on a memorable journey to the vibrant world of television to the illustrious Studio 16 in Film City, Mumbai, where they were set to experience the magic behind the scenes of one of India’s most iconic quiz shows, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).
The visit to the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati was not just an outing for the students and faculty; it was an educational journey that exposed them to the intricate workings of a television production. They witnessed firsthand the meticulous planning, coordination, and teamwork required to create a seamless show. From the lighting setup to the camera angles and the director’s cues, the students gained valuable insights into the behind-the-scenes activities that bring a television show to life.
It was an opportunity to witness the fusion of knowledge and entertainment that television offers and a chance to meet a true legend of Indian cinema, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. This visit not only enriched their understanding of the media industry but also ignited their passion for a career in this dynamic field.
