Tibetan activist-poet inspires students
No one can describe the art of Resistance Writing than Tibetan activist-poet in exile Tenzin Tsundue. Having grown up as a refugee in various parts of India, Tsundue claims, he’s “more Indian” than Indians. Discussing the art of writing, the published informed the students about how to drawn inspiration while playing with words. Recounting his years as a student in Mumbai and his days in a Chinese prison, Tsundue spoke to the students about the geopolitical impact of the Chinese occupation of Tibet in the region and the power of non-violent protest by the refugees in India. The students responded with a variety of questions and the guest lecturer was a huge success.
