The Literati Club hosted an event “BOL”. The central theme of the event was an open-ended question “What if?” The participants were expected to write a poem, prose, anecdote, or experience which highlighted the unknown trajectory of a hypothetical situation. The audience were blindfolded to fully immerse them in this enigmatic experience.
This event encouraged students to give free reign to their imagination and anticipate the outcome of a hypothetical situation. Some participants were shy while many others performed brilliantly in front of the audience. Some students shared witty anecdotes while others used satire and irony to critique society and the political landscape. The growing confidence of the students was apparent as many students decided to participate as the event progressed. The teaching faculty received an overwhelming response and they were stunned by the exuberance of the students.
