On the eve of Friendship Day, 7th August 2023, the NSS (National Service Scheme) unit of DGMC (SB 22) organized a unique and eco-friendly event called “Van Mitra” (Friends of the Forest). The event aimed to celebrate the bond between humans and nature by tying friendship bands made of organic materials to trees. The event was held under the umbrella of the national plan of “Meri Maati, Mera Desh”.
